HUBBARD Sports WXOS (101ESPN)/ST. LOUIS has renewed the contract of midday host and former ST. LOUIS CARDINALS outfielder and first baseman CHRIS DUNCAN.
DUNCAN, who has been broadcasting mostly from CALIFORNIA since recovering from brain tumor treatment, and co-host ANTHONY STALTER’s “THE TURN” is moving to noon-2p (CT) starting NOVEMBER 25th, the same day KEVIN WHEELER takes over 9a-noon, formerly occupied by the now-departed BOB RAMSEY and ZACH MCCRITE show. As previously announced, on JANUARY 6th, former CARDINAL BRAD THOMPSON is joining “THE FASTLANE” with RANDY KARRAKER and D’MARCO FARR for 2-6p. The station also recently dropped host BRIAN STULL and ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH CARDINALS beat writer DERRICK GOOLD.
PD CHRIS “HOSS” NEUPERT said, “We are excited to have CHRIS continue with 101ESPN, he is a tremendously talented guy and a hard worker who prepares in great depth every day to entertain and inform the 101ESPN audience.”
