WZPL's Request-a-thon Grants Record Number Of Wishes

ENTERCOM COMMUNICATIONS Top 40 WZPL/INDIANAPOLIS, its SMILEY Morning Show and their generous listeners granted a record number of wishes during the 17th Annual 99.5 WZPL Request-a-thon to benefit the MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION OF GREATER INDIANA.  More than $528,000 was donated by listeners during a 36-hour event, enough to grant "wishes" for 66 area children with life-threatening medical conditions.

The past record was set last year with $471,000. To date, WZPL’s Request-a-thon has generated a grand total of over $4 million and granted over 750 wishes during its 17-year history.
