Cumulus/Lexington Launches 9th Annual 'Homeless For The Holidays' Fundraiser

CUMULUS' LEXINGTON cluster -- Talk WVLK-A, Talk WVLK-F, Active Rock WXZZ (Z-ROCK 103), Top 40/Rhythmic WLTO (HOT 102). and Country WLXX (NASH FM 92.9) -- has launched its 9th annual Homeless for the Holidays fundraiser.

The stations are airing the charity drive this week through FRIDAY to collect money, toys and food for those in need in CENTRAL KENTUCKY, through charities GOD'S PANTRY and the LEXINGTON Firefighters' Toy Program.  The stations are each broadcasting part of their programming live from SPORTSMAN'S WAREHOUSE this week.

The event has in previous years collected over 60,000 pounds of food and has filled dozens of storage units with donated items.
