CBS Bay Area Hosts Typhoon Relief Day

Helping Typhoon Survivors

All of CBS RADIO/SAN FRANCISCO stations, which include Hot AC KLLC (ALICE @ 97.3), Alternative KITS (LIVE 105), Top 40 KMVQ (99.7 NOW) and News KCBS (740 AM/106.9) joined forces with TV partners KPIX 5 and THE CW for a day of giving.

ALICE @ 97.3 APD/MD/Midday diva JAYN told ALL ACCESS, "We had personalities from ALICE, LIVE 105 and 99.7 NOW on the phones with the entire CBS staff.  Phone banks were staffed from 6a to 7p taking donations.  Along with the calls and online donations, our grand total is over $410,000 for the RED CROSS Typhoon Fund to directly benefit survivors in the PHILIPPINES. It was inspiring and humbling to see the power of live and local radio, coming together for such an amazing cause."
