Sirius Celebrates MTV's 25th Anniversary

SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO BIG 80s hosts MARK GOODMAN, NINA BLACKWOOD, ALAN HUNTER and MARTHA QUINN will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the launch of MTV with a two-hour SIRIUS special: "BIG 80s Celebrates MTV at 25."
The four hosts, along with the late J.J. JACKSON, served as the original faces and voices of MTV when it debuted on AUGUST 1st 1981, and they'll be sharing their memories and playing songs from the videos featured during the channel's debut. “We all knew we were part of something really cool, really fun. I never imagined that we were part of something that would change pop culture forever,” said GOODMAN.
The special will air on Tuesday, August 1st at 10 am ET on SIRIUS channel 8, and will be repeated on August 1st at 4 pm and at 9 pm ET, and on August 2 at 3 am ET.
