ELEVEN SEVEN MUSIC's PAPA ROACH teamed up with Make-A-Wish to make a wish come true for a teenage cancer patient named MARK who had a wish to record an EP with his band BREAKING BOUNDARYZ with direction from his heroes PAPA ROACH, and showcase for a record label.
When MARK was diagnosed with a brain tumor he thought he might never have the chance to live out his dreams. But, with the help of PAPA ROACH, MARK was granted an incredible, multi-day wish experience, culminating in his becoming a signed recording artist.
The wish was fulfilled in NEW YORK CITY OCTOBER 23rd to 25th with FUSE, the national music television network, following every step. This special segment chronicling MARK’s journey with PAPA ROACH will air on FUSE News on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 26th.
Here's the breakdown of MARK's wish fulfilled:
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23rd:
MARK, his family and bandmates arrived in NEW YORK CITY and had dinner with PAPA ROACH, then had VIP backstage access at the band's headline show that night in SAYREVILLE, NJ.THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24th:
MARK and BREAKING BOUNDARYZ recorded at DOWNTOWN STUDIOS with PAPA ROACH.FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25th:
MARK and BREAKING BOUNDARYZ visited PAPA ROACH's label, ELEVEN SEVEN MUSIC and got an insider's look at how a label operates. They were presented with gifts -- MARK was given a guitar signed by MOTLEY CRUE, and the entire band (and family members) got a bunch of CDs and books from ELEVEN SEVEN artists.Later that day, MARK and his band performed a short set in a small club in downtown NYC for the label's staff.
