WJJR Runs The 'Gift Of Life Marathon'

PAMAL AC WJJR (MIX 98.1)/RUTLAND, VT is doing a "1,969 MINUTE LIVE MARATHON" air shift to promote their "GIFT OF LIFE MARATHON" that began at 5:30a on THURSDAY (11/21) and will continue until FRIDAY afternoon (11/22).  

WJJR has teamed up with the city of RUTLAND and the AMERICAN RED CROSS to set a new record for the most pints of blood donated in a single day.

According to OM/morning show host TERRY JAYE, "This is what radio is for; yes, we laugh and play music and work well with our clients, but if we have a chance to save lives, 1969 minutes of live airtime is a small price to pay."
