KINK Has Successful Radio-A-Thon With Union Gospel Mission

Helping the less fortunate

Alpha Broadcasting Triple A KINK/PORTLAND, OR raised enough money to feed and care for over 37,000 people this holiday season.  The funds were raised for the UNION GOSPEL MISSION on THURSDAY NOVEMBER 21th during an all-day on-air Radio-A-Thon that was broadcast live from THE BING LOUNGE.

UNION GOSPEL MISSION was founded in 1927, when 40 area churches came together seeking to minister to the homeless on the streets of PORTLAND.

KINK PD, CHRIS MAYS said, “It’s such a privilege to work at a radio station with such passionate and caring listeners.  We are honored to be a part of bringing hope to thousands of people in the PORTLAND community this holiday season by providing meals for the hungry.”
