No Shave November Exceeds $150k Goal; Beard Bash Winners Announced

CURB RECORDS’ TAYLOR CHILDRESS walked away with the coveted "Beard Of The Year" prize during last NIGHT’s (11/26) 3^rd ANNUAL BEARD BASH for ST. JUDE CHILDREN’s RESEARCH HOSPITAL at NASHVILLE’s TIN ROOF.

The room was packed, the beer was cold and men were hairy, as additional awards were presented between musical sets from JAMES OTTO, AUSTIN WEBB, CRAIG CAMPBELL, STEVE WARINER and others.

Other BEARD BASH winners presented last night included “Flock Of Beards” (Most Participants) to the 61-member strong HAIRY AND THE HENDERSONS team. "MVB" (Most Valuable Beard) went to LUNCHBOX, from TEAM 98/THE BOBBY BONES SHOW; "Scraggle Rock" (Worst Beard) was JASON ALLEN of KRWQ/MEDFORD, OR; "Old Gray Beard" (Self- explanatory) went to publicist CRAIG CAMPBELL; “Mane Man” (Ladies Choice) went to BLASTER RECORDS’ GLENN NOBLIT of team INGLORIUS BASTARDS; "#noshavenovember" (Best Social Media Advocate) went to WUSY/CHATTANOOGA personality STYKMAN and "Best Beard Commerical" (Best Media Placement) was LADY ANTEBELLUM's DAVE HAYWOOD who mentioned "NO SHAVE NOVEMBER" on NBC-TV’s “TODAY” show.

NO SHAVE fundraising continues through SATURDAY (11/30), and because the initial goal of $150,000 was met, the Beard Of Directors have raised the bar, now hoping for $200,000 total.
