CMA Hires Three New Staffers

Jay Jones, Tiffany Kerns, Carrie Tekautz

The COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA) has hired three new staffers to their team.

JAY JONES has been hired as CMA Dir./Media Relations. JONES previously owned public relations and marketing company, JAY JONES MUSIC. He will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s media initiatives, digital public relations campaigns, and development of relationships with media, publicists, and CMA partners.

TIFFANY KERNS has been hired as Community Outreach Manager. She joins CMA from the CYSTIC FIBROSIS FOUNDATION, most recently as Development Director. In her new role, TIFFANY will develop relationships throughout the community for CMA.

CARRIE TEKAUTZ joins CMA as Assistant for the Membership and Balloting department. CARRIE recently graduated from TREVECCA NAZARENE UNIVERSITY with a degree in Music Business. She will assist with the day-to-day duties of the department, as well as coordinate volunteers for events such as the CMA Music Festival.
