Midday host JEFF JOHNSON has decided to leave his post at EDUCATIONAL RADIO Contemporary Christian KVNE (89.5)/TYLER TX after a five-year stint.
Pres.-CEO/TROY KRIECHBAUM explained, "JEFF has done a great job for us the past five years, and has felt GOD'S call to work as the Senior Communications Specialist at UT HEALTH NORTHEAST, in TYLER. While we are excited for JEFF, we are sad to see him go. His stories, humor and personality have been a blessing and encouragement to thousands each day, and he will be greatly missed. If you know someone who would be interested in the Asst.PD-Midday Host position, please have them contact us. They can send MP3 and resume' to onairjobs@kvne.com."
JEFF commented, "I'll be doing a lot of the same things I did for FOCUS ON THE FAMILY, SALEM COMMUNICATIONS, and on SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO - writing and editing, interviewing, web and graphic design, audio and video production, public speaking and, possibly, even some voiceover and on-camera work. The primary emphasis of this position will be on donor communications, and it will really give me the opportunity to use more of my skills and talents, and to use them more frequently, than I've been able to since I transitioned to music radio in 2008."
"I'll also continue to operate RADICAL IMPACT COMMUNICATIONS (radicalimpact.com), the
"holding company" I created in 2000 to serve as an umbrella over my web design services,
web training workshops, voiceover business, media training workshops, public speaking
and writing ventures. This will allow me to continue to work with churches, ministries,
Christian radio stations and other non-profits as time permits."JEFF'S last day at KVNE will be DECEMBER 13th. You can stay in touch with him after that by emailing jeff@radicalimpact.com
