Garth Brooks Tops Country Albums Chart

Another #1 Selling Album Collection

The hits just keep on coming for GARTH BROOKS this week and we mean that literally. He released his latest collection, “BLAME IT ALL ON MY ROOTS,” an eight disc box set available only at WALMART, last FRIDAY (11/29).

The set debuted at the top of the Country albums chart, selling 163,000 copies in a short sales cycle – only three days, according to NIELSEN SOUNDSCAN figures. In addition to BROOKS’ Country debut, the set ranked #3 on the all-genre sales chart.

The sales figures follow GARTH's highly rated CBS-TV special which aired FRIDAY and news of a JANUARY 2014 return to LAS VEGAS.
