Paper Says Anthony Weiner In Talks To Host Radio Show

The NEW YORK DAILY NEWS' CONFIDENTI@L gossip column is reporting that its sources tell it that disgraced former Congressman and failed Mayoral candidate ANTHONY WEINER is in talks to host an afternoon radio show in NEW YORK. 

The paper claims that CUMULUS Talk WABC-A and CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WOR-A are candidates for the show, but WABC OM TONY MASCARO denied that the station is talking to WEINER, saying that "we're looking at a lot of people" for the noon-3p slot to be vacated when RUSH LIMBAUGH's show moves to WOR.

CUMULUS has already announced that MICHAEL SAVAGE's syndicated show is ticketed for the afternoon drive slot being vacated by PREMIERE's SEAN HANNITY's move from CUMULUS stations to WOR and other competitors in JANUARY.
