KAMX To Change Morning Show

ENTERCOM Hot AC KAMX (MIX 94.7)/AUSTIN has decide to part ways with morning hosts JB and SANDY MCLLREE. A new as-yet-unannounced morning show host had been hired. VP/Programming CAT THOMAS said. “We are excited about the future of MIX in 2014, and we will be naming our new host shortly.  We are pleased to announce we will be retaining ALEX and SARA, and we will continue playing Austin’s best music mix.”

“JB and SANDY have been part of MIX for 18 years, which is a lifetime in radio," THOMAS added. "JB and SANDY made an indelible impact on our station, their audience and the city of AUSTIN.  But unfortunately the declining performance and the expense of the show no longer made economic sense, and we were unable to come to terms.  We thank them for their work and wish them the best in the future.”
