STROH COMM, LLC is selling Top 40/Rhythmic WHWT (HOT 103.5)/NEW HOPE-HUNTSVILLE, AL to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $850,000. EDDIE ESSERMAN of MEDIA SERVICES GROUP served as broker for the deal.
In other filings with the FCC, KIRBY BROADCASTING, INC. is selling Country WKJT (KJ COUNTRY 102.3)/TEUTOPOLIS-EFFINGHAM, IL to GAYLA JO RING's PREMIER BROADCASTING INC. for $470,279.62 in a promissory note.
LA PROMESA FOUNDATION is selling the construction permit for noncommercial KAGP-F/GREENWOOD, TX to AGAPE EDUCATIONAL MEDIA, INC. for $25,000.
NORTHEAST INDIANA PUBLIC RADIO, INC. is selling FM translator W258BY/FORT WAYNE, IN to FORT WAYNE CATHOLIC RADIO GROUP, INC. for $113,000. The translator will rebroadcast Religion WLYV-A (REDEEMER RADIO)/FORT WAYNE.
SOUTH SOUND BROADCASTING, L.L.C. is selling the construction permits for FM translators K237FR/TUMWATER, WA and K251BW and K227CG/CENTRALIA, WA to SUNNYLANDS BROADCASTING, L.L.C. for reimbursement of the cost of resolution of technical conflicts in the applications. The TUMWATER translator will rebroadcast KGY-F-HD-2/MCCLEARY, WA (simulcast of Talk KGY-A/OLYMPIA), K227CG will rebroadcast Country KANY (BIGFOOT 93.7)/MONTESANO, WA, and K251BW will rebroadcast News KOMO-F/OAKVILLE, WA.
ROY E. HENDERSON has applied for a silent STA for KHTZ/GANADO, TX. The application is actually an attempt at extending the station's original silent STA, but the FCC database still showed the original as "pending," preventing the filing of an extension application.
BICOASTAL MEDIA LICENSES, LLC has requested an extension of its Silent STAs for FM translators K242AH/KELSEYVILLE, CA and K242AD/BOONVILLE, CA, while it constructs modified facilities.
And YMF MEDIA CALIFORNIA LICENSEE LLC has closed on the sale of two of the stations in the SAN FRANCISCO market that it acquired from INNER CITY BROADCASTING, Chinese-Korean KVTO-A/BERKELEY, CA and Vietnamese KVVN-A/SANTA CLARA, CA, to PHUONG PHAM's PHAM RADIO COMMUNICATION LLC for $6 million.
