Kudos to MOMENTUM BROADCASTING/VISALIA, CA for gathering 39,504 pounds of food during its NOVEMBER FOODLINK FOOD DRIVE.
The cluster’s three stations, which include Country KJUG, Top 40 KCRZ and Classic Rock KIOO announced school locations for drop-offs, conducted remote broadcasts from a local grocery store and solicited donations on-air.
“The great thing about FOODLINK is that it stays in TULARE COUNTY, so we know the food is really going to those that need it,” said RANDY HENDRIX, PD of KCRZ and KIOO. “It’s great to see the community in these tough financial times still get together and help those less fortunate at this time of YEAR. It really renews your faith in the human spirit! We can't wait to top it next YEAR.”
