CPB Report Shows Public Radio Listener Contributions Increasing

The CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING's report on public broadcasting revenue shows contributions to public radio rising and catching up to public television, reports CURRENT.ORG.
The report, covering 2002-2012, shows public radio's total contributions rising steadily over the decade from $217 million to $380 million, just short of TV's $404 million; radio had 2.84 million contributors, up from 2.4 million in 2002, while TV contributors fell from 4 million to 2.98 million over the same period.
