Mark Adams Named VP/Programming At Clear Channel Portland

MARK ADAMS, who exited the VP/Programming post at CBS RADIO HOUSTON last month (NET NEWS 11/26), is returning to PORTLAND, OR to take over as VP/Programming at the CLEAR CHANNEL cluster. He had been with CBS in HOUSTON for six years and worked as PD at KXJM and OM at Talk KXL-A/PORTLAND in 2000-08.
ADAMS said, "I would like to thank CLEAR CHANNEL PORTLAND for this opportunity. I'm looking forward to working with all of the incredible brands and teams in the market and contributing to their future success. PORTLAND is one of my favorite cities in the country and it's exciting to have the chance to return to the PACIFIC NORTHWEST and do some great radio."
