ALL ACCESS/NASHVILLE is pleased to announce that effective today (7/31) KIM MADDEN is joining our Country office as Asst. Editor. KIM will be replacing MELISSA CARR, who has joined a TV production house on MUSIC ROW.
KIM, wife of CURB/ASYLUM VP/Promotion ADRIAN MICHAELS has 20 of years experience in the music industry. She has worked in management at ADRIAN MICHAELS AGENCY, when he was managing RCA artist, TOMMY SHANE STEINER. As a native of CLEVELAND, MADDEN also has worked as a Regional Booking & Talent Agent for many years. You've probably seen KIM or had dinner with her if you've been in the Country format for any length of time, as she's traveled the country with ADRIAN and has attended the past 10 CRS seminars in NASHVILLE.
MADDEN joins ALL ACCESS Country Editor JIM ASKER, and Asst. Editor KELLY DANIEL, who have been together well over 5-years, along with Christian Editor JACKIE CHAPMAN in the NASHVILLE outpost of ALL ACCESS. "We're really excited to have KIM join us," said JIM ASKER. "When MELISSA, who previously worked at management companies, felt that moving to a TV production house would be a better fit for her, we started looking for folks. KIM kind of dropped out of the sky and after one meeting with her, I knew that she was a perfect fit for ALL ACCESS.
"If you know ADRIAN at all you know that after spending 5 minutes with him, you felt like you've known him 20 years. Well, KIM has that same gift. She also knows a lot of the radio people already. When she met up with
us last week in the RENNAISANCE Hotel at CRS-AGENDA meetings, she knew more people than I did! She's very passionate about this position and I expect nothing less, than for her to take us to a whole new level."ALL ACCESS President & Publisher JOEL DENVER said, "KIM's pedigree and passion for Country music, the artists, the radio programmers, and the ALL ACCESS mission to serve the radio and the music industries make her a perfect fit for our NASHVILLE office. During our first conversation, KIM and I hit it off and were soon laughing over something, and I knew immediately she'd kick ass for us. She's a charmer, and we're very excited about her enthusiasm and knowledge of the business. Welcome aboard, KIM!"
