The CRTC has approved STEPHEN GUAY's application for a new low-power commercial FM in BARRIERE, BC. GUAY proposed to air a music format for an "all-inclusive audience (i.e., men and women, from three to 93 years of age)," including world beat, experimental, acoustic, easy listening, folk, and jazz and blues music, among other music formats.
The new station in the town north of KAMLOOPS will operate at 93.1 FM with 13.5 watts at 144.5 meters below average terrain.
