Raleigh Talker Frank Roche Launches Congressional Campaign

CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WTKK/RALEIGH-DURHAM weekend host FRANK ROCHE is officially launching his campaign for the Republican nomination for Congress in the Second Congressional District of NORTH CAROLINA TODAY (12/11), with an announcement scheduled for 11:50a (ET) at the BOND PARK Boathouse in CARY.

ROCHE, who has been off the air since OCTOBER due to his plans to run for office, is challenging Rep. RENEE ELLMERS (R-NC) in the primary, criticizing the incumbent for being too moderate and not providing adequate constituent services.  He has previously run for Congress and State Treasurer, losing both races.

ROCHE said, “I’m eagerly anticipating WEDNESDAY’s gathering to share in more detail how I can strengthen our economy and provide solutions to other pressing concerns for our state and nation. My team and I have a big challenge on our hands, and we are excited about the campaign getting underway this week. I look forward to seeing you there.”
