Format Flip In Store For 87.7 Cleveland's Sound

MURRAY HILL BROADCASTING Alternative WLFM-LP (87.7 FM CLEVELAND'S SOUND)/CLEVELAND has confirmed on its Facebook page that it will be flipping to a Spanish-language format on JANUARY 1st. The station (the audio of an analog LPTV station on Channel 6). The station responded to a listener's question about the change with a confirmation, saying "Sadly, it is true" (and "Hasta la vista"). The flip was initially reported by CLEVELAND SCENE.

CRAIN'S CLEVELAND BUSINESS is reporting that the station will be operated by TSJ MEDIA and be known as "LA MEGA 87.7, LATINO AND PROUD." TSJ, headed by JOSH GUTTMAN, operates Spanish Variety WVKO (LA MEGA 103.1)/COLUMBUS and WOXY (LA MEGA 97.7)CINCINNATI.
