The Local Radio Freedom Act, the bill that opposes the imposition of a performance royalty on radio broadcasters, has picked up three new co-sponsors.
The addition of Reps. GUS BILIRAKIS (R-FL), DENNIS ROSS (R-FL), and STEVE SOUTHERLAND (R-FL) gives the bill, introduced on FEBRUARY 15th by Reps. MICHAEL CONAWAY (R-TX) and GENE GREEN (D-TX) in the House and Sens. JOHN BARRASSO (R-WY) and HEIDI HEITKAMP (D-ND) in the Senate, 184 House co-sponsors and 12 sponsors in the Senate.
