Classic old time radio series "THE BREAKFAST SERIAL" is celebrating its 40th anniversary, founder JONNIE KING tells ALL ACCESS. The feature launched in OCTOBER 1973 at KSLQ/ST. LOUIS, with chapters from cliffhanger serials accompanied by KING's informative wrap-arounds. The segments entered national syndication in SEPTEMBER 1976, later moved in the ST. LOUIS market to Adult Standards WRTH-A, and are now heard on the Internet at serial.thewwbc.net.
KING has posted a complete history of the show; read it here.
