Report: Mike Francesa YES Network Simulcast Out, Michael Kay In

The television simulcast of CBS RADIO Sports WFAN-A-F/NEW YORK's MIKE FRANCESA afternoon show on the NEW YORK YANKEES' YES NETWORK will end and the cable channel will begin a simulcast of crosstown ESPN Sports WEPN-F (ESPN NEW YORK 98.7FM)'s afternoon show with YANKEES TV voice MICHAEL KAY, reports the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS' BOB RAISSMAN.

RAISSMAN quotes an unnamed TV executive "familiar with the situation" as saying that the move is a "matter of economics" because of increased rights fees for FRANCESA's show, the YES contract for which expires on JANUARY 31st.
