Former ENTERCOM Country KKWF (100.7 THE WOLF)/SEATTLE afternoon jock and program director ROB "POSSUM" WALKER has created a new Classic Hits Internet station, KROBradio.com. WALKER tells ALL ACCESS that the line up includes LINDSEY ROBBINS from BOSTON, DAVID BLAIR from ST. LOUIS, AARON ANTHONY from LITTLE ROCK, and LISA G. from PORTLAND, MAINE.
WALKER said, "We're playing a slightly quirky mix of 70s and 80s hits, but the listeners love it! We're delivering all of the major market content that makes radio great, without the overwhelming commercial load. As the lines between terrestrial, satellite and Internet radio become increasingly blurred, we're looking forward to increasing our growth and we're going to continue to deliver a quality product to the thousands of listeners that enjoy KROBradio.com every day."
The station is currently streaming on iTunes, Windows media guide, and the StreamS high definition platform. There are also free iPhone and Android apps available on the website.
WALKER left KKWF in 2008 to pursue a career in EMS. Along with his work as a county paramedic in DELAWARE, he is heard nightly on CODCOMM AC WKFY(KOFFEE 98.7/HYANNIS, MA. and DELMARVA BROADCASTING Classic Hits WNCL(COOL 101.3)/MILFORD, DE.
