Beyoncé's New Album Breaks First Week Records On iTunes Store

BEYONCÉ's new, eponymous album, released without advance publicity last FRIDAY by PARKWOOD ENTERTAINMENT/COLUMBIA RECORDS, has become the fastest selling album ever on the iTunes Store, APPLE reports, with 828,773 albums sold in the first three days of release.    617,213 were sold in the U.S. alone, also a first-week record, and the album hit number one on charts in 104 countries.

The album is BEYONCÉ's fifth solo studio album.
