CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative WWDC (DC101)/WASHINGTON is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the station's predecessor, WWDC-A-F, being, by its own assertion, the first radio station in AMERICA to play THE BEATLES' "I Want to Hold Your Hand," the hit that launched a revolution in pop and rock music.
