Mix 101.5/Raleigh Crowns Winners Of Christmas Choir Competition

CAPITOL BROADCASTING AC WRAL (MIX 101.5)/RALEIGH has awarded a total of $16,000 to six local school choirs in the MIX 101.5 CHRISTMAS Choir Competition.  RALEIGH’s MARTIN GT MAGNET MIDDLE SCHOOL won the $5,000 Division I first prize; SANDERSON HIGH SCHOOL in RALEIGH won Division II and $5,000 as well.

GM ARDIE GREGORY said, “This competition has been the highlight of our year here at MIX.  Being able to showcase these amazing school choirs and introduce them to our listeners has been very rewarding for everyone involved.  The response from the schools far exceeded our expectations and the support of the community has touched our hearts.”
