CBS RADIO News WBBM-A-WCFS/CHICAGO afternoon co-anchor STEVE GRZANICH has announced he is exiting the station in a cost-cutting move. CHICAGORADIOANDMEDIA.COM reports he had been with the station for nearly 20 years.

GRZANICH wrote on his FACEBOOK page, "Dear Friends: I have breaking news... about me! After 20 years, I am signing off at WBBM NEWSRADIO to explore other opportunities. I am hungry for a new challenge and must embark on the journey to find it starting now. But don't go away! I'll still be here in CHICAGO and on FACEBOOK with news, weather and other stuff... just not on the 8's. Thank you for listening! Stay tuned for news about my next chapter."
