Is radio dying a slow death, as some prognosticators would have you believe? Not so, according to JACOBS MEDIA TechSurvey, which outlined the various media usage from a wide sampling of potential listeners across an expansive list of formats and genres in the first quarter of 2013.
It's no surprise that cellphones lead the pack with 96%, followed by Internet 95%, TV 90% and Radio at a very respectable 89%. What are just a few of the 15 categories that came in behind radio? Social Networking (in general) checked in at 83%, with Texting, FACEBOOK, MP3 Player, Internet Radio, TWITTER, PANDORA and others trailing behind. But that was last year, and how would those results stack up when compared to the Christian format?
In an effort to help you answer that question and discover what types of media your listeners are engaging in 2014, CHRISTIAN MUSIC BROADCASTERS (CMB) is offering a special connection and pricing for JACOB MEDIA'S first annual CMB TechSurvey.
This collaboration between CMB and JACOBS MEDIA will focus on the unique needs and interests of the Christian format that validated the creation of this stand-alone product. Deadline to sign up is JANUARY 10th, and there is a $250 discount for CMB members.
