KTST Hires Shawn Carey To Co-Host Mornings

CLEAR CHANNEL Country KXXY/OKLAHOMA CITY has hired industry veteran SHAWN CAREY as new morning co-host, alongside current host and PD BILL REED. SHAWN replaces PATTI GARRETT, who is taking time off after being diagnosed with an illness in the FALL.

BILL tells ALL ACCESS, "I got a new partner on-air! SHAWN has been in the market for 20 years." She was formerly morning co-host at CHAMPLIN BROADCASTING Classic Country KZLS and an AE for Oldies sister station KOAG.

On WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 18th, SHAWN posted via FACEBOOK, "So much excitement and anticipation as I start my new chapter TOMORROW (12/19) morning. I will now be heard on 96.1 KXXY in the mornings with the one and only BILL REED!"
