The casino project that RADIO ONE partnered with MGM RESORTS INTERNATIONAL last year (NET NEWS 10/28/2013) has been approved to move ahead.
The casino license for WASHINGTON's NATIONAL HARBOR was approved last week. RADIO ONE is investing $40 million in the $925 million project.
“There will be a close to a billion dollar resource on the banks of the POTOMAC RIVER. That will be an icon for those driving over the WOODROW WILSON BRIDGE into VIRGINIA. It will be a great resource for PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY in terms of economic activity, revenues, amenities, and it will be a great staycation for those who live in PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, and it is a job machine,” said MGM RESORTS INTERNATIONAL Chairman/CEO JIM MURREN.
