Red Zebra Broadcasting Signs Steve Czaban For 3 More Years

RED ZEBRA BROADCASTING Sports WTEM-A (ESPN980)/WASHINGTON, D.C. has agreed to a contract extension with afternoon drive host STEVE CZABAN that will keep him with ESPN980 through 2016. CZABAN has co-hosted the afternoon-drive time slot for WTEM for the last 13 years.
VP/Programming CHUCK SAPIENZA said of the signing, “CZABE is integral to the success of our station. We look forward to three additional years of CZABE, COOLEY AND GALDI.”
STEVE CZABAN co-hosts "The Drive with COOLEY & CZABE" weekdays from 4-7p as well as hosts the golf program "SUNDAY Tee Time," 8a SUNDAY mornings during golf season.
RED ZEBRA CEO RICK CARMEAN added, “STEVE CZABAN is one of the most experienced daily sports talk hosts in the country and we are glad to have him.”
CZABAN said of the deal, “After BRUCE ALLEN rejected my offer to coach special teams, I jumped at my sixth best opportunity … ESPN980. I’m pumped to work everyday with AL GALDI and former REDSKINS great, tight end RON MIDDLETON.”
