KYOT Sheds Rhythmic AC 'Eva 95-5' To Build Adult Hits '95.5 The Mountain'

At 5p FRIDAY (1/10), CCM+E KYOT/PHOENIX changed format from Rhythmic AC EVA 95-5 to Adult Hits 95.5 THE MOUNTAIN, with the slogan "We Play Everything" -- taking the slot vacated by BONNEVILLE Adult Hits KPKX (THE PEAK) when if flipped to simulcast sister Sports KTAR-A (ARIZONA SPORTS 620) last week, (NET NEWS 1/6).

95.5 THE MOUNTAIN will be programmed by MAT MITCHELL, who programmed EVA 95-5 as well continuing as PD at sister Top 40 KZZP (1047 KISS FM).

CCM+E/PHOENIX Dir,/Programming & Operations STEVE GEOFFERIES said, "We wanted to bring THE VALLEY a station that is incredibly popular to the audience, and works great for clients.  It's unique, it's fun. And it brings together the best music from multiple formats and decades."
