ALL ACCESS extends sympathies to family and friends of longtime broadcaster and COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME member GAYLON CHRISTIE, who passed away TODAY (1/15) in TEXAS. He was 77.
CHRISTIE began his 50-year radio career at KTEM/TEMPLE, TX when he was 17. He went on to managerial positions at several stations in the LONE STAR STATE, then entered into ownership with the purchase of KOOV/COPPERAS COVE, TX in 1977.
