MEDIABASE and ALL ACCESS send congratulations out to REPUBLIC'S MONTE LIPMAN, AVERY LIPMAN, CHARLIE WALK, GARY SPANGLER, DAVID NATHAN, MICHAEL HORTON as well as their nationals and field teams on LORDE's "Royals" hitting #1 at Urban.
This makes the song #1 at five formats, matching the record set by ROBIN THICKE’s “Blurred Lines” last year.
LORDE has topped Top 40, Hot AC, Alternative, Triple A and now Urban while THICKE was #1 at Top 40, Rhythmic, Urban, Urban AC, and Hot AC. LORDE is also the first song to ever top Urban that was also #1 at Alternative and Triple A. She's still climbing at AC, where if she were to top that chart, would set the all-time record for most number of #1s on one title.
