The MINNESOTA TWINS make it official and take their game broadcasts to a new flagship, HUBBARD Talk KSTP-A/ST. PAUL-MINNEAPOLIS, for the 2007 through 2010 seasons. The TWINS are leaving the only flagship they've had since moving from WASHINGTON to BLOOMINGTON, MN in 1961, WCCO-A/MINNEAPOLIS, to move to the locally-owned KSTP. The deal also includes shows for manager RON GARDENHIRE and GM TERRY RYAN as well as a "Hot Stove League" off-season program. Sister stations AC KSTP-F (KS95) and Talk WFMP (FM 107) will also carry TWINS-related programming.
The TWINS will produce the game broadcasts and pre- and post-game shows. MINNESOTA NEWS NETWORK will continue to distribute the games to TWINS RADIO NETWORK affiliates, which currently number 59 and will be increased.
