Country Radio Hall of Famer GERRY HOUSE and social media expert LORI LEWIS have been added to ALBRIGHT & O’MALLEY & BRENNER’s annual Pre-COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR (CRS) Seminar.
Formerly host of “GERRY HOUSE AND THE HOUSE FOUNDATION” on CLEAR CHANNEL Country WSIX/NASHVILLE, HOUSE has also written more than 50 songs and just authored the book, “Country Music Broke My Brain.” He’ll take part in a Q&A session at the A&O&B event.
“GERRY is one of a handful of ‘ultimate personalities,’” said A&O&B’s MIKE O’MALLEY. “On air he’s a friend, an insider, a comedian, and an observer. His material is so good and so original that years later we can all quote things he’s done on the air. It doesn’t get much better than 20 minutes with GERRY HOUSE.”
LORI LEWIS works with JACOBS MEDIA, A&O&B and writes the weekly "MERGE" column for ALL ACCESS. She’ll present a session titled, “The Difference Between Doing Social and Being Social.”
“LORI offers experience, knowledge and passion about social media and the digital footprint for radio,” said BRENNER. “All of our research confirms that the Country life group is very socially active and LORI will help our radio stations capitalize on that.”
A&O&B will also share findings from its “ROADMAP 2014” online perceptual study.
The Pre-CRS seminar is free and open to clients and others in non-competitive markets by invitation. It’s set for TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 18th at the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME.
