JACOBS MEDIA's TECHSURVEY10 -- which will have its debut at the upcoming WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT 2014 -- as now examined over 42,000 surveys from more than 160 radio stations -- is nearing the end of the interviewing process. Yet the data is unearthing even more kernels of insight.
The latest revelation concerns listeners who reach out to radio stations and personalities on FACEBOOK, TWITTER and other social sites; a strong majority of those polled would like to be acknowledged but they don’t expect to. However, when questioned further, there were strong indicators that station acknowledgment translates to more listening.
"This area of social response, customer experience, and acknowledgment is a world where radio can leapfrog pure-play channels, satellite radio and other digital competitors," JACOBS MEDIA Pres. FRED JACOBS said. "But only if the industry gets the message and takes it to heart. TS10 is loaded with actionable social media data that will generate conversation at radio stations across AMERICA."
This -- as well as a lot of other -- data will be broken down by age, gender, generation, and format in time for the 4th annual WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT You'll get the first full look at the JACOBS MEDIA'S TECHSURVEY10 presentation at 12n on THURSDAY, APRIL 3rd at the HOLLYWOOD ROOSEVELT HOTEL.
More exclusive TECHSURVEY 10 Sneak Peeks will be posted in NET NEWS in the coming weeks, leading up to the presentation, so stay tuned!
