LPFM Grant To End AM Share-Time Arrangement In Iowa

The FCC grant of a new low power FM to LUTHER COLLEGE in DECORAH, IA will lead to the end of the college's share-time arrangement on AM, reports NORTHPINE.COM. 

The school operates Variety KWLC-A/DECORAH, which airs late night and weekend programming in a shared-time deal with DECORAH BROADCASTING Adult Standards KDEC-A/DECORAH, and has agreed to divest KWLC by sale or closure as a condition of the LPFM grant.
