The suburban CHICAGO radio stations owned by NEXTMEDIA are already undergoing some changes as new owner, DEAN GOODMAN's DIGNITY MEDIA is set to officially take over next week.
CHICAGO RADIO AND MEDIA reports, "Two key managers were informed of their release in the last two days. The first release was of PATRICK PENDERGAST, who is the GM of four radio stations: WJOL-A, WCCQ, WRXQ and WSSR. PENDERGAST has been with NEXTMEDIA since JULY 2010."
The website also notes WERV GM SCOTT KOSAK exits, and writes "Both men remain NEXTMEDIA employees for the remainder of this week, finishing up any projects they may have been working on and helping to ensure their stations stay strong going forward. When the sale to DIGITY becomes official on MONDAY morning, they are not being invited to be employees of the new ownership."
BRIAN FOSTER will take over the duties of the departing duo.
