  Condolences to family and friends of veteran HOUSTON radio personality and newsman MIKE EDMONDS, who died TUESDAY of cancer at 59. EDMONDS worked as a sports host, news reporter, and PD at several stations in the market, including KILT-A, KPRC-A, and KTRH-A, as well as at stations in FREEPORT and TYLER, TX, and called play-by-play for UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON football.
