Bob Kratz Passes Away

Long-time LEHIGH VALLEY radio and theater personality BOB KRATZ, 65, passed away last night at LEHIGH VALLEY HOSPITAL following a long bout with prostate cancer. KRATZ served as Chief Engineer for WLEV/WEST-A/EASTON for over 25 years, and served as host of the WEST-A morning show. Additionally, KRATZ was well-known throughout the area for his theater work, including turns as DON QUIXOTE in eight separate stage productions of “MAN OF LA MANCHA.” KRATZ is survived by his wife, JANICE POPE, and three children.
