CUMULUS Talk KABC-A/LOS ANGELES is partnering JOHN PHILLIPS with former FOX SPORTS personality and FOX O&O KTTV (TV) (FOX 11) "GOOD DAY L.A." co-host JILLIAN BARBERIE for a new weekday noon-3p (PT) show, "MID-DAY L.A." The new show starts on MONDAY (2/17), filling the gap left on JANUARY 1st when CUMULUS stations dropped PREMIERE's SEAN HANNITY, who ended up on crosstown CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KEIB-A (THE PATRIOT).
CUMULUS EVP/co-COO JOHN DICKEY said, “JILLIAN’s energy, experience and love for SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA are unmatched. We’re absolutely thrilled that she’s joining the TALKRADIO 790 team in this important role."
BARBERIE said, "I am so excited to be partnered with JOHN PHILLIPS! I couldn't be happier to be a part of the KABC team, which is such a great place with incredibly talented people. I've always felt that there is something unique and liberating about doing radio.”
PHILLIPS added, “JILLIAN is not only a high-energy broadcasting star, she’s a real-life mom and trend-setter – and has an opinion on everything! We are going to give the listeners a reason to take a long lunch everyday. It's going to be a blast.”
