CCM+E has named BRENT HENSLEE as OM for the company's six-station cluster in MACON, GA, including Urban WIBB, Urban AC WRBV, Rock WQBZ, Country WPCH, Sports WPLA and Comedy WIBB-A. HENSLEE transfers from TEXAS after a 14-year run as PD/PM drive host at Active Rocker KBRQ/WACO. In 2007, he added similar duties at sister Active Rocker KLFX/KILLEEN-TEMPLE.
In GEORGIA, HENSLEE will also oversee the company's three station cluster in NEWNAN, which includes Classic Hits WMGP, Talk WVCC, and Sports WCOH. His first day is FEBRUARY 24th.
He replaces JOHN LUND, who transfered to FLORIDA in JANUARY as OM for CCM+E/TALLAHASSEE and PANAMA CITY.
"I want to thank SVPO JOHN ROHM and SVPP ROD PHILLIPS. Over the years, ROD has presenetd me with numerous opportunities to advance my career within CCM+E, which I have appreciated greatly," said HENSLEE. "I also have to thank Regional Market Manager THOMAS BACOTE for his efforts in making this the right opportunity for me and my family. Lastly, I want to thank my friends and co-workers in WACO and KILLEEN, led by Regional Manager EVAN ARMSTRONG and Regional Program Manager ZACK OWEN. Even after 14 years, I was in no hurry to leave. Now, somebody please buy my house ... no low-balls!"
