... As WKQX Re-brands As '101WKQX'

Now Only Heard On 101.1 FM

With TRIBUNE turning 87.7 into a Sports Talk station (see story above), CUMULUS MEDIA re-launched Alternative WKQX/CHICAGO solely on 101.1 as "101WKQX." Starting tomorrow, the on-air lineup will have regular air shifts.

Mornings will be held down by newcomer BRIAN (PHILLIPS) and holdover LOU (LOMBARDO); LAUREN (O'NEIL) will do middays; WALT (FLAKUS) will take on afternoon drive; and PJ (KLING) will host 8p-midnight.
