The COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME's 2014 inductees were honored last NIGHT (2/18) during a ceremony at the NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER.
The radio inductees were ALPHA and L&L BROADCASTING WKLB/BOSTON's LARRY WILSON and MIKE BROPHEY, WKKT/CHARLOTTE, NC's PAUL SCHADT, and WFMS/INDIANAPOLIS' JIM DENNY.
These broadcast professionals fit the criteria for induction, including having made significant contributions to the radio industry for at least a 20-year period, 15 of which were in the Country format.
"The recognition of these deserving and worthy HALL OF FAME inductees represents four unique careers filled with accomplishments, contributions and excellence in advancing Country radio," said CRS HALL OF FAME Chairman RJ CURTIS. "And each of our honorees for 2014 are still active and passionately involved with listeners, artists and the music that helps maintain Country radio's dominance."
Additionally, VINCE GILL was presented with the "Artist Career Achievement Award," and ED HARDY received the CRS "President's Award."
