ALL ACCESS sends a big thank you out to COLUMBIA RECORDS' JIM BURRUSS, LEE LEIPSNER, AIMIE VAUGHAN, PETE COSENZA, and their entire staff who welcomed ALL ACCESS and other members of the press to an exclusive, private listening party and interview with actress and singer LEA MICHELE at PULSE STUDIOS in HOLLYWOOD on WEDNESDAY (2/26).
MICHELE discussed her role as the character RACHAEL BERRY on the popular TV series GLEE (now in its fifth season), and the three-year writing and recording process of her debut album 'Louder.' The album will be released MARCH 3 and was made available for streaming this week on iTUNES. Its first single, the STARGATE-produced 'Cannonball,' is currently being played at Hot AC and AC radio.
The recording sessions took place at PULSE STUDIOS. 'Louder' includes songs co-written with other artists and songwriters such as CHRISTINA PERRI, SIA, MATT RADOSEVICH and NASRI.
The singer specifically discussed how SIA helped her to find her sound on the project, and how SIA's song 'Cannonball' inspired her, lifting her out of the grief she experienced after a difficult year that included the loss of her co-star and boyfriend CORY MONTEITH in 2013.
The interview was conducted by Grammy and Academy Award-nominated songwriter, musician, and record producer ANNE PREVEN who also co-wrote tracks on the album including the title song. PREVEN's body of work includes collaborations with MADONNA, BEYONCÉ, KATY PERRY, MILEY CYRUS and DEMI LOVATO.
