LEADERSHIP MUSIC is accepting applications for its Class of 2015 beginning TOMORROW, MARCH 1st. Online applications will be accepted through the month of MARCH for the NASHVILLE-based learning program which gets underway in SEPTEMBER.
The program exposes participants to every phase of the music industry. Those selected for the class are required to attend all-day sessions one FRIDAY per month for an eight-month period in addition to an orientation and two-day opening and closing retreats. The one-time tuition for the program is $1000.
“The Class of 2014 began with 43 members who were chosen from among several hundred applicants,” said LEADERSHIP MUSIC Executive Dir. DEBBIE LINN. “Our goal is to select a passionate, balanced and diversified class, who are individually and collectively, the best and brightest leaders in their field and represent all segments of the music industry. Each year, the selection committee has the challenge of selecting from so many more qualified applicants than we have available slots to fill. I guess you would say that’s a good problem to have, but it is often frustrating for those who have applied multiple times. We strongly encourage applicants to keep applying if not selected. It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and well worth the effort.”
LEADERSHIP MUSIC’s 25-year history boasts more than 1,000 alums.
Forms, dates and policies will be posted here effective TOMORROW (3/1). Applications must be submitted via the on-line process no later than MONDAY, MARCH 31st.
